It never fails. Every time I try to be healthy, bear root into my "I am a goddess and need to treat myself as such" internal monologue, something breaks or explodes. Okay, nothing's ever exploded...except for when I tried mixing a mimosa in the new shaker I had received last Christmas. In my defense, I was not being properly supervised by my spouse, who witnessed me pouring champagne into it and later said, "I didn't think you were actually going to shake it!" Anyway... But I did once have to go to urgent care due to my sudden want to be healthy about my snacking. I truly wonder what I did to piss off the Universe by bestowing upon me a new and exciting allergy. Yes, that's right! In your late twenties, you can discover an amazing new food allergy which will cause a rash to spread from your pits, down to the inside of your elbows, up your neck, across one cheek (on your face), and then infiltrate in every hot spot on your body. What was the culprit?
